Horse Boarding
Horse Boarding
Cloverdale Quarters offers general self-care pasture board with 24/7 turnout. We also have a full stable barn that has stalls with Equistall matting that is available for use for injured and pre & post rides, automatic waterers, full wash pit - with hot water, is heated with a gas fireplace and has a bathroom with shower.
Our pastures include run-in sheds and automatic well waterers with four board fencing. There is no wire fencing on the property to ensure the safety of all of our animals and guests. Boarders have access to over 100 miles of trails, two Olympic size dressage arenas, a large designated show-jumping area, round-pen and a large general lighted riding ring.
Retired Horse Boarding
Our retirees enjoy their days out in lush pastures with their new herd mates, and your horse can have its own run-in shelter. We give every horse lots of love & attention! Whether you have a trusty trail horse, a show horse, or a racehorse who is ready for retirement, Cloverdale Farm can be your horse's dream retirement getaway.
Our standard retired horse pasture boarding package includes daily feeding, de-worming, farrier trims as needed and regular photo updates. The lush pastures at Cloverdale Quarters range in size up to 100 acres and provide direct access to automatic waterers. If your horse requires supplemental feeding, Cloverdale Quarters can create a custom boarding package to meet your requirements.
The number of horses per pasture is anywhere from 3 - 7 depending on the size of the field and are placed with similar temperament horses. Please note that it takes a special horse to live out in the pasture full time. They must be able to sustain a good weight on grass and hay (in the winter) alone. We do feed hay in the winter months when the grass is not enough to keep the pasture horses well fed. We still check on them daily and groom and bathe them as needed.
